My tubes were tied in 2020. In 2024, my husband and I spoke to my OBGYN about a reversal. We were told that a reversal would be impossible due to how much of my tubes were removed and burned. Then we were pressured into trying IVF. I have endometriosis, so we were very skeptical about that treatment.

We went and asked for a second opinion from a different doctor. They looked over my surgical notes and pictures from the tubal with us in great detail. After consideration, they told us it would be best to see a specialist to determine if we would qualify for a reversal.

We found Lakeshore during our search and reached out for a consultation. During the consultation, we spoke with a nurse and the doctor about my tubal and the likelihood of a successful reversal. The doctor was very confident in our chances, told us we could most definitely do the reversal, and that we had an 85% chance of getting pregnant within the first few months due to my age, health, and previous fertility (three kids).

The staff was extremely helpful in setting up a payment plan with us, explaining how everything would work, and scheduling our surgery for what was most convenient for us. Our pre-op appointment, surgery day, and post-op appointment went as smoothly as possible. I did have some issues after waking up from anesthesia (I couldn’t stop throwing up), and the staff and doctors took care of it immediately. They even called to check on me after I made it back home, two days post-op.

We became pregnant a month later and had a healthy baby boy. The staff stayed in contact and checked in throughout our pregnancy and after delivery. We couldn’t have asked for better care. We will forever be thankful for Lakeshore staff and Dr. Turner for our little blessing.
