Just wanted to share my story.

I had my tubes tied in 2006. I was 22 years old, after having my second baby. Years went by, I married my husband, and we eventually decided we wanted to have a baby. We began researching all our options. By the grace of God, I came across Lakeshore Surgical Center. I read testimonials on their website, and I even had a childhood friend who’d used them, which I didn’t know at the time. My husband and I thought about it for months, weighing all our options (I didn’t really want to do IVF).

In January 2023, we finally made up our minds. We reached out to Lakeshore and started the process. In February, we paid our deposit, and I had my reversal done in August 2023 with Dr. Turner. I was 39 years old.

My experience was amazing. We were given so much information to help us conceive. The staff followed up with us after surgery, randomly checking in just to see how we were doing. We always felt loved by them. We followed their recommendations.

Six months later, we had our first pregnancy in March 2024. Unfortunately, that one was ectopic. We took some time off from trying.

In February 2025, we found out we were pregnant again, with a sweet little girl. We lost her at 14 weeks due to a partial molar pregnancy. After that, I wasn’t sure we were going to try again. God had other plans.

In October 2025, we found out we were pregnant again.

I sit here writing all this cuddled with my six-week-old beautiful baby boy, whom I had at 42 years old.

Through our journey, I couldn’t believe how many doctors were uneducated about tubal reversal, even up until delivery. We shared our story with every one of them.

Ladies, if I can give you any advice: if you’re thinking about the surgery and you’re ready, do it. You’re making the right choice choosing Lakeshore. Give yourself grace, and know that your timing and someone else’s may not be the same, and that’s okay.

Wishing you all happy, healthy pregnancies!

We are very blessed and thankful for him.
