After having my 2018 boy, I figured I was done, I had a boy, and a girl also. After 3 kids, me and my now ex-husband no longer wished to have anymore children. So in December of 2018 I got my tubes tied, my OB used the filshie clips. I got divorced and then in 2021 met my current SO who had no children, we talked about it and began our hunt in November of 2022. I came across Lakeshore on Google and decided to give them a call, everything went smooth, I was approved for surgery and all that was needed to set a date was payment, I was waiting until tax time to pay in full, so I called back in March of 2023, and they put me on the schedule for April 11-13. I live in SC so the drive wasn’t bad at all, the price was amazing, and the hotel room, meds, operation, etc. were all included in the flat rate!! We arrived on April 11th, I was late because of traffic and they still allowed me to come in so that I didn’t have to reschedule! We spoke with Dr. Turner, he did a physical and explained the entire process with me in a classroom setting! The next day I just had to wait at our hotel room until we were called to come in for our surgery, once I arrived, everything went quickly and before I knew it I was on my way back to the hotel to recover! The next day, I came in and Dr. Turner followed up, checked my incision and we went on our way back home! From the very first moment I spoke with Lakeshore I knew this was the place I wanted to go, I felt like I was at home the entire time!! Fast forward to November of 2023, only 7 months later, I found out I was pregnant!! I contacted Brittany and she got me an order to get my blood drawn at my local hospital, it didn’t take long to see my numbers growing and we found out my pregnancy was viable!!!! We welcomed our baby boy Greyson July 18th 2024 @ 10 pm. He has completely changed our world and we owe it all to the great staff at LakeShore Surgical Center for giving us this opportunity!!
