In April 2016, I had a tubal reversal followed by two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy. We underwent genetic testing and it was determined that I was premenopausal and I stopped getting pregnant and had an irregular cycle for the next 9 plus years. Fast forward nearly a decade, and I began a health journey. I went on Tirzepatide and lost just shy of 100 lbs. I went in for a tummy tuck in June 2025, and I was told while gowned up for surgery by the anesthesiologist that my surgery would be cancelled because I was pregnant. The next day, we went to the OBGYN for an ultrasound, where we found out that, without any intervention, without progesterone as with every other pregnancy, I was 17 weeks and 1 day pregnant and due the day after Christmas.
